BMW E28 M535I Sharknose For Sale.
Here for sale is my 1987 M535i with the rare manual dog leg gearbox. Very nice drive plenty of power but hardly have any time to drive it. Also daughter driving soon so could do with the space on my drive.
The car has been in my family since 2002 as it was my uncles car which shows on the log book. I bought the car from my uncle earlier in the year as he had not had it on the road since 2008 due to health reasons.  I have since given it a recent Mot. having changed various hoses. recent fuel/pump and filter . new plugs. oil. xhaust mounts. new gearbox oil. drained/flushed brakes added new fluid. new rear anti roll bars etc etc.  Also had various parts of the bodywork done for my daughters prom as i used this car. Had both front lower arches cut out and replaced as were rusty under skirts. Then resprayed with the boot + spoiler. rear bumper. sideskirts. wing mirrors. rear passenger door lower. Now the car looks great. The car has 158000 miles on it with plenty of history over the years. Including in 2005 bills fitted from Fritzs Bits. Dog leg box. Short shift gearstick with bushes. O/E clutch cylinder. secondhand steering box. Since then the car has only done around 5000 miles. Has an insurance approved immobiliser fitted.   
Currently the car sits on apex lowering springs on standard dampers. has bonnet vents cut into bonnet with large induction kit fitted. TSW Evo 7. 5 x 16 inch alloys with excellent tyres. Also my uncle for some strange reason had the roof covered in blue vinyl. Arches rolled so would take larger wheels.
Have got the original motorsport springs if wish to put back to original. Also original air filter assembly. various switches . relays. new rear bushes. headlights. headlamp wipers etc etc. So could be mainly original apart from the vents as the vinyl roof could come off which would be my next job if i was keeping it.
Bad Bits:Window rubbers could do with replacing as are crackedAbs light comes on since i changed drivers side coil springRear electric windows not working and wing mirrors intermittent but the front windows and sunroof work fine.
This is a genuine sale and will not sell for silly money. o No stupid offers. Test drives and viewings more than welcome. Is advertised elsewhere so reserve the right to end auction early. More photos on request.
