1997 BMW CI AUTO YELLOW for sale

BMW 840ci sport.   Dakar yellow with black leather.

I have owned this car since August 2010 and it make me smile every time I take it out however due to my circumstances I have only done 2k in the past 12 months so I think its time to let it go. 4. 4 litre V8 through the Remus exhaust is tremendous

So here is a bit about this beautiful machine.

The previous owner spent £16500 on this car in a 12 month period. I cant explain why I think he had some sort of OCD when you see what was done.

I have done 8K miles since.

Work included a complete replacement of all suspension components including shock absorbers. springs. tie rods. bushes. ball joints etc. Even all the nuts and bolts were replaced with genuine BMW parts.

Brakes replaced by Zimmerman discs and still are like new.

The exhaust is stainless and is by Remus I have a receipt for £827 for this.

The wheels are genuine AC Schnitzer split rims assembled with titanium bolts. I have a receipt for £4750 including tyres. I have since replaced the tyres in the last 2k miles

Some of the smaller items replaced were the ashtray at a cost of £70 and the first aid kit because the old one was out of date.

The front spoiler rear spoiler and splitter are all AC Schnitzer items.

The bodywork is almost perfect there are no trolley dents as I think this car has only ever been an expensive toy.   At over 60k new it was a very expensive toy.

The engine is so clean you could eat your dinner off it.

The car comes with 2 keys and even 2 very rare  8 series key rings.

Now for the bad bits.

The front bumper is stone chipped as to be expected as its such a low car.

The sunroof has a small amount of flaking paint which I have touched up with a brush.

I have a sunroof seal included in a box of misc spares that I bought as a job lot.
