This is not an original A990 car. It has an aftermarket 426 Hemi motor.  Read on if you are looking for a very nice reproduction hemi car you can own for less than cost to build yourself. A nut and bolt restoration was completed on this car with attention to details and originality.  I purchased the car from a mopar collector who took it in on trade. Car was built by avid Mopar enthusiast/collector and it's done right.  Body appears to be all original sheet metal. very solid. very straight. no visible evidence of any rust or damage repair history that I can see. Looks as if dry California. Arizona. Nevada. western or southern car.  Black paint is nice. very slick. but has some minor flaws. It was built to be driven and does not show much road wear.  I can't speak for previous owners but car appears to have very minimal mileage since restoration. The 426 hemi big block is professionally built. believe it is a world products block. has cast iron heads and a nice lumpy cam.  Race hemi cross-ram and dual carb setup. MSD ignition. rumbly TTI exhaust sounds great. 4 speed A833 trans. and Dana 60 Posi-traction rearend. The interior. carpet. seats. headliner. are new and nice. dash & steering wheel restored to new.  Glass is nice. trim is nice. runs drives excellent but these cars can have temperamental street manners and are not meant for daily runabouts. They were built for W. O. T. at the strip.  Chrysler advertised them for " off-road acceleration trials" only.  I would not recommend this car for a first time muscle car owner nor for a 16 year old kid. However. you can take this car around town in light traffic.   I've used the car for local cruises and car shows and it is a blast. Hemi mopars are popular and people just love to talk about the mopar muscle car glory days. This is why I have no problem with quality reproductions of the originals like this one.  It's just good for helping to keep the passion for these icons alive. It's time for me to pass this one on. Please bid to win and buy this car only if you have the funds.
