1965 BUICK RIVIERA

 

This is one of Buick's most desirable Riviera's and this 65 coupe with it's 401 Nailhead motor. finished in a dark metalic green paint and clean tan interior with new 18 and 20inch chrome Coy rims.

I have just put a new exhaust on this car and new 600 Edelbrock carby. it runs and drives great and I use it regularly on a trade plate. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car from the Gold Coast to Melbourne on a permit if you are an interstate buyer. it's very mechanically sound. The trim is clean and tidy with the exception of the glove box lid but there is a replacement on in the truck that comes with the car. you may also notice the front wheels centre caps are missing in the photo's and it now has a new pair fitted. The paint is a metallic green and not black like most people assume. it's dark but in the sun it is definately Jade green. the paint is nice and smooth but has got some humidity blisters on the roof. boot lid and bonnet from when it was shipped over. hard to notice unless you get it on the rite angle but it's there and needs to be noted. i'd just leave it as it is and cruise this car as a clear streeter/driver.  

 

The car is currently a new import and listed in this auction for sale with import approval as a new import.

We are happy to put this car on the road for QLD residents at there expense but as each State has different rules it will stay as a new import. QLD residents need it to be Lo8 complied ($1200) and will need a QLD road worthy.
