1987 Buick Grand National grand mational

It all began with a well driven vehicle. the previous owner of 25 years loved and enjoyed this car. it was time to move on for him and that's where i came in. The car had a well used interior and tired motor but the bones were good. I began disassembly of the entire vehicle. removed the body and began the restoration process. i have to mention. i was building this car for myself. Life and circumstances out of my control have pushed me to sell a car i have well over 500 hours in. Regardless of all that. i sandblasted the frame and suspension components. Replaced the rear trailing arms with boxed lowers and adjustable uppers. Stainless fuel lines. poly bushings. new hardened bolts. new fuel tank with performance pump and hotwire. new backing plates. brakes. lines. etc. The motor was torn apart and rebuilt with the best of everything. forged crank. rods. and diamond pistons. 206 roller cam. roller rockers. ported cast iron heads. larger intake valve. ported upper and lower intake and throttle bodly. blueprinted front cover and oil pump. billet centre main caps. The entire assembly was externally balanced. the transmission was rebuilt with alto clutches and and new hard parts. A 2800 red stripe converter was added to the mix.  new 40 lb injectors. all new module. coils. all sensors. sender and relays. New te 44 ballbearing turbo. custom 3 inch downpipe with strait through 3 inch stainless exhaust (still retains duals). Stock intercooler with Duttweiller neck. new aluminum rad with dual fans and custom cold air intake. new ac compressor. ps pump. alternator. waterpump. tensioner and idler. new steering box and lower shaft( coupler shaft) with all new ps lines. ac lines(the powder coated ones) and oil cooler lines. also new condenser and heater core. and master cylinder(vacuum boost). New main wiring harness from caspers. and dash rebuilt by caspers. whew. that was a mouthful. in the interior. all the upholstery from highway stars(the best fabric they sell) new carpet. new seatbelts. restored console. removed and restored dash and all plastic panels restored or replaced. t-top plastic replaced. and guages added (boost. oil. fuel. and temp) . converted shifter to shorty. new headliner and rear deck carpeting. new door panels(also highway stars) pull strap trim and straps. Kenwood cd player in original spot new stock shape but excellent quality speackers(six). new door sills etc. youre getting the picture now. the trunk was cleaned up and i installed a nine piece carpet kit that fits perfect. its immaculate. the body was worked on by a racecar painter. its completely solid and straight. the paint has been cut a polished. and i installed all new emblems on the car. it also has all new weatherstripping all around. So you can see. no expense was spared on this car. it has less then 100 miles on it. its quick and nimble. has been lowered at least 2 inches and has custom made bonspeed wheels (15 x 8 front. 15 x 10 rear. with 245 45 17 in front and 275 40 17 rear.
