1975 MGB roadster 1. 8 Finished in teal blue one of the last cars to come with the colour as in Feb 75 they discontinued the colour. this little Mgb was a barn find when I found it bought by the previous owner in 2002 and used for 3 years then locked away till I bought it last October. The Mgb has only done 46000 miles from new and had a gold seal engine fitted in 1990 so the engine has only done 10. 00 in the time it's been in the car. before being parked up for a decade it had been a very well looked after car and no expense was spared keeping it in top form with a large folder of receipts to show the extensive work done over the years. Since buying the mg back in October 2015 I have given it a chrome bumper conversion. lowering springs to drop the front down to the correct height ( these have not yet settled but will as it gets driven) it has had a brand new roof fitted last week with zip out rear window. American racing chrome wire look wheels. fully serviced the engine and changed all the fluids. replaced the entire ignition system. points condenser. plugs. leads. distributor cap oil and filter. fuel filter and fitted a new fuel pump. carbs were striped cleaned and set up correctly starts a runs perfectly has a k&n style aluminium mg air filter and a new battery it passed  the mot on the 1st of April and had no advisorys.
It has a stainless steel exhaust system. overdrive on 3rd and 4th gear which is working fine Autumn leaf interior which is in very good condition. walnut dash which has some marks. And a full tonneau cover
Body work is good not perfect it has been resprayed at some point in the past but the colour is bright and has no rust however there are some marks on the front edge of the bonnet look like a reaction in the paint I my opinion if I was keeping it I would treat it to a repaint to make it perfect
Underside has been fully undersealed and is very clean with no rust it has been repaired in the past and lots of receipts in there for rear quarter panels door skins sills and wax oil injection. Front floors have been waterproofed rubber vulcanised to ensure they don't rot both floors very solid although have been repaired in the past all documented
clutch hydraulics were all replaced master cylinder pipes and slave cylinder.  brakes were overhauled and everything works as it should.
The wheels are not brand new retro old wheels but in good condition some light rust in areas but still good overall condition. If preferred I do have the rostyles and can put these on instead of the American racing wheels
To summarise this car it's the perfect entry level to classic car ownership a clean usable low mileage roadster to go out and have some fun in the summer with the roof off if your looking for a Concourse show car this is not the car for you
