Ok. finally the Trans Am is for sale. It's an awesome car and turns head EVERYWHERE it goes. I would love to keep it but my desire for a nice Ski Boat is just too much.

It's an '85 Trans Am. not Firebird. Michael Douglas special. there is a plaque on the passengers side stating this don't know how true it is. but I'm giong with it. It has a 5 Litre with a fairly big cam. roller rockers. and Gilmer belt that howls real loud. I have recently put in an MSD Electric Dizzy and Edelbrock Performer manifold. it still needs a tune up but runs amazingly. smooth and quite fast.

That is backed by a T700 4 speed auto that I believe has a shift kit as it shifts quite hard into 2nd when you boot it. but is beautiful and smooth if you drive it nice and easy. Together with the 3. 7 Diff ratio it is quite nimble off the line yet with the overdrive is only doing about 3. 00rpm at 100k's

The interior has nice leather seats in good condition. a Pioneer DVD player. Alpine Type-R co-axials in the dash. Pioneer 8" co-axials in the B piller. and Pioneer 8" subs in the little hidden boot section. and they surprisingly pump quite hard. and make the whole sound system sound very nice and sweet. One sub is damaged and no longer works. but even with one it sounds good.

It is a Targa Top with a special bag in the back to store the roof in when you take them off.

Now the bad point.

When I got it. it had a sticker on the bonnet scoop and racing stripes down the drivers side. Unfortunately they were on too long and basically baked themselves onto the paint and to get them off I have scratched the bonnet pretty bad. and taken some small chips out. the boot also has scratches from taking off the racing stripes but I have been told they will buff out ok. But on a positive I was quoted $400 to repaint the bonnet and buff out the other scratches.

Other then that the paint is in fair to good condition that I believe will come up really good after a good cut and polish.

I don't really want to do a roadworthy. but all it might need is the indicator lights on the dash don't work anymore and the pop up headlights. if left plugged in. will drain the battery. so you just need to pop the bonnet to plug them in to pop them up and down. then remember to unplug them before you put it to bed or your battery will go 100% flat. been there done that.
