If you are considering a 1948 Buick Roadmaster vs a Buick Super. remember that the Roadmaster was the top of the line in Buick luxury and power. When compared to the Super. the 1948 Roadmaster had a 129” wheelbase compared to the Super 124” wheelbase. a much larger and powerful 320cc engine (150hp) compared to a 240cc (110hp). and 5” longer front hood.
I have a local mechanic/restorer who is familiar with the car. he replaced some wiring and rebuilt the starter solenoid to make the starting more reliable. He also maintains the other cars in my collection. You can speak to him if you want an objective opinion on the cars' cosmetic and mechanical condition. He is Craig Hartless 336-602-1565.
