1971 MGB GT California Car

This car is a very nice driving chrome bumper MGB GT in a great original color. It has had a nice repaint a few years ago and still looks stunning. This car was sold new in the Los Angeles area and there is no rust anywhere. Floors are great as are the rocker panels and fenders. The body is straight and it is Blaze Red (Orange) color as it left the factory. These GT's are a popular touring version of the MGB and are very practical with their roof enabling year round use. The previous owner had this car for over 30 years and it was well looked after. garage kept with a cover and it still wears its original blue/yellow license plates from 1971. There are also all receipts for any work performed that go back over 30 years.

The engine on this car was rebuilt a few years ago and has very few miles on it. It starts easily with the choke and has 60 lbs. oil pressure. At hot idle it has a solid 45 lbs. It has no valve noise and it runs well. The brakes work well. The clutch and four speed transmission are as they should be and it shifts well. It does not have overdrive. All the dash instruments are working as they should. The tires are good on a nice set of repainted rostyle wheels with stainless trim rings. The car drives very well and is comfortable on the freeway.

The interior is nice with the front seats redone and the rear seat original. The carpets appear to be original and are in nice shape. The headliner and door panels are great and all the glass and chrome are nice. A rust free comfortable driving classic GT from southern California! Feel free to contact me if you would like more photos. Car is available for test drives in sunny Ventura. CA. We do have the car advertised elsewhere and reserve the right to remove it from ebay.
