This is the car that we never wanted to sell. Only selling due to ill health of my wife. The dateless plate is included in the sale of the car. (HIG 6227) 'HIGGY' is a 1980 Chrome conversion MGB Roadster in Snap dragon yellow NOT Inca Yellow which is more like Ferrari Yellow. He has been totally undersealed and Waxoiled 2 years ago. and has been dry stored since then and only covered 200 miles in the last 12 months. There are a few small cosmetic marks. remember you are buying a classic car NOT a new one. Higgy runs on unleaded fuel and has fully operational overdrive which really helps on motorways and dual carriageways. There have been thousands spent on him. All fully documented including restoration pictures and MOT and bills covering approx 30 years. Total body restoration and pans etc. full respray 2003. New hood 2008. Goodrich Hoses. Last full service was completed on the car in April 2012- Halls Garage in Donnington Lincolnshire which specialises in MG cars. All Higgys services. repairs and refurbishments were completed there under the previous owner. New tonneau cover. Full documentation of all the work carried out ie restoration pics etc is in a box file tracing Higgys history. Higgy has not been taxed this year so is still on a SORN at the moment. In November 2011 Higgy was independently valued for Lancaster classic insurance for guarranted replacement value- valuation agreed replacement £6000. 00 Due to our circumstances of my wifes ill health Higgy has got to find a new home. He is very much loved and cherished to be passed on without a thought or care. I strongly recommend viewing. Any inspection welcome.
