This is Mrs. Ruth's Baby. She bought it in 1969[October 9] and enjoyed it every day she drove it. Until she could no longer drive. In 2007.

It is equipped with front disc brakes. imited slip diff[273:1]. ower steering. /C. Tinted Glass. Rally II's. console. Built in the Baltimore MD Plant on or around Sept 22. 969. Sold on Oct 8 1969.

It Always sat in the same garage.  

My friend noticed the car for sale. and thought that it was so nice. he would fix the few visible problems. and enjoy the car.


He had the front fenders patched at the bottom rear. Using Ames Patch Panels[Metal].

He bought new Rear 1/4 Panels. nd Repaired the rear wheel opening moulding flanges using the new 1/4's

He repaired one small hole at the Rt Rear corner of the vinyl top.

They stripped the car. and painted it with basecoat/clearcoat in the original pepper green.

They Installed new BFG Radial T/A Tires. Replaced most of the trim moulding. and replaced the Top.

Nice Car.

My friend has 2 Children. and did not use the car. for 2 years. I  traded a few Items to him. nd it was my car. I inspected the car. nd found a few issues.

What I found was collapsed engine mounts . ery slight radiator leak. teering box seeping at output shaft. /C Inop [ Leak]. Rear Engine oil leak. ront Crank Seal Leak. ranspan leak. ut Put Trans Seal wet. ushing loose. The radio was inoperative.

We Replaced the Motor mounts. eplaced the Radiator [4 core replica of the Harrison]. eplaced the water pump. All Hoses[GM Repo]. Water pump. nd thermostat. refilled the empty system using Evans Waterless Coolant.

Replaced the A/C Compressor. rier. xpansion valve. uffler. and the condenser was replaced with the newer high swirl unit. Removed the POR valve. nd installed pressure switch for cycling. We Converted to R134. Its very cold.

Replaced the dash speaker. nd replaced the AM radio with AM/FM Delco.

We pulled the Trans. And lifted the Engine up. Removed the oil pan. emoved and replaced the rear main seal. nd oil pan gasket. ith parts from BOP. Reinstalled the trans using new mount. Pulled rear tailshaft housing. rebushed it. eplaced the seal. nd reinstalled it. replaced the filter. nd pan gasket. eplaced shifter seal. nd speedo drive seals.

Replaced the Steering Box with faster unit from Ames. Replaced hoses.

Replaced upper ball joints. nd upper control arm bushings. ince I tore the boots for the upper ball joints!

Replaced front timing cover seal. nd belts. GM Repro.

Replaced Spark plugs. ap. otor/wire set with Delco /AC Parts.

Replaced PCV Grommet. alve/Hose. Removed intake. nd valley plate. esealed. einstalled after painting.

Replaced all 4 studs in the exhaust manifold flanges.

Removed valve covers. ainted them. eplaced the gaskets. einstalled. Got new Grommet for breather tube.

Resealed the carb. leaned. eplaced the accelerator pump.

Replaced both battery cables with OE style

Now the car performs very well. Does not leak fluids. nd is tight. nd nice to drive.

We installed New Bilstein Shocks.

Still has the original T3 headlights.

We have the service receipts and inspection mileages. s well as a log of all repairs. We have a  notebook of gas purchases.

The underside is clean and I will post more pictures of the undercarriage .

I don t see many LeMans Sports. Haggerty says they only made 1600 in the 1970/1971 production series . As you can see by the Window sticker. t was not a cheap car. I think that this car is a great driver/cruise night car.
