– Superb overall condition
– Uprated engine to rally specification
– Beautifully patinated interior

Appreciated. loved and enjoyed by the same owner for the past 36 years. this first year of production MGB Roadster has been improved and preserved in equal measure. and is a real credit to its long-term ownership.

Incredibly. the car retains its original red leather seats. which are beautifully patinated. and really do add an air of “specialness” to a car which has been uprated to rally specification throughout.

Featuring an uprated engine to 1840cc with a stage two cylinder head for fast road use. the motor car also features the appropriate aftermarket “Securon” harnesses. ensuring that the car can be used for any desired purpose with a minimum of preparatory effort.

Also featuring desirable modifications such as larger SU carburettors. tuftrided and balanced crankshaft. lightened flywheel and larger inlet and outlet valves. Brown & Gammons were heavily involved in the drivetrain uprating process which went on to include a single box 2″ stainless steel exhaust system.

The motor car's suspension has also received thoughtful attention. with the fitment of uprated bushes and a 3/4″ front anti-roll bar.

The red soft-top is in excellent condition and sets off the triple red colour scheme. with 72-spoke competition painted wire wheels rounding out an excellent package. The MGB is one of Britain's most iconic and longest-lived classic sports cars and this early pull-handle model is a rare find indeed.

Supplied with full history file. a selection of original spares and an MoT until May 2016. This highly developed and well-finished car is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy open-top. spirited motoring in the fashion it was intended.
