For Sale Austin A40 Hi Lite Utility. 90% complete restoration.

Fully re-sprayed Brock blue over 25 years ago never been driven since. no rust and was 99% rust-free prior to restoration. never been dented. very minor chips.

Chassis. floor. wheel arches. inside the doors and nearly every nook and cranny have been painted with matt black rust guard. Engine bay has been painted.

All glass has been re-fitted. new rear windscreen rubber. new sealant on front screen. new quarter window rubbers. restored quarter window mechanisms and frames. no door locks.

Astro bubble cab (very hard version to find. alot more diserable than the straight rear cab).

Marine carpet. flooring insulation. and custom interior as new. All chrome trim present.

Custom made polished alloy and merbau tray.

60L alloy fuel cell with sender.

Tyres were brand new. but due to age have signs of cracking.

New front wheel cylinders. Custom single circuit brake master cylinder and filler pot. Rear wheel cylinders and shoes need replacing.

New wiring throughout. All new hoses. leads and near new radiator. Beehive under dash heater. thermo fan.

Tailshaft custom to suit Datsun Gearbox. Late model 56A (strongest of Datsun gearboxes) 4 Speed Manual Gearbox with new exedy clutch kit.

Late Model (M79 Casting) Datsun A12 engine. new gaskets all round. water galleries and head are clean. Engine has been cleaned and resprayed.

Sump pan cut and shut to clear front cross member. custom engine mounts. new mount rubbers. Remote oil filter set up (oil pump has been modified to suit).

Near New Weber 32/36 2 Barrel Carb (DFEV Electric choke. mirror-image to DGV series). Extractors (have been cut off near chasis to fit).

I was working on this project for over a year and although it's nearly done I won't have the time to finish due to work commitments.
