Cadillac : Other Calais

Up for auction. A very original 1966 Cadillac with  tons of character. along with that original unexplainable aged smell of the interior of Car. that will almost take you back in time. This car belongs to

 a very successful entrepreneur Who as second owner. kept it in his private collection for many years. Has its original booklet/Pamphlet and sales period correct brochures. The car has been very well kept as

 a driver. which also received its regular servicing at scheduled intervals. Original Deflecto shieldis installed.  This is one of 11. 80 Calais that were produced for the year. It is very well optioned. 429. Auto. A/C. power steering. power

windows. Power antenna. nbsp;and power seat. Antenna is Broken. nbsp;Alternator was replaced. However I have the original. if the winning bidder desires. The power windows all work properly. The vent

windows crank open and close properly.  The power seat does work. however.  As I was moving the seat back it stopped. you can hear the motor still turning. but does not move. possibly off track? 

Seat does move up and down. litter box included . The interior is all original and exceptional for its age. done in Black. with its original loopstyle carpeting still intact. Original jack in place

along with spare. The trunk still has its cosmetic/beauty cardboard trim pieces in place. also its carpet.  This car has never been reupholstered. Its original A/C Compressor and components are all

intact along with its climate control set up. The 429 runs very well after reaching warmth. The Choke will need  minor adjustment. It is very surprising to me. how well the car drove. The idle is perfect.

 It shifts perfectly and suspension is nice and tight for being almost 50 years old. The owner claims these miles of a little over 90. 00 to be the original mileage on the car. The radio works. along with

all the lights. and turn signals. The body is very solid.  There is one tiny quarter sized piece of rust on the passenger front fender behind wheel. other than that this car is major rust issue free. The

car Appears to have never been painted. has chipping. age spots. scratches. which give this beauty its unrefined character. It is entirely up to the winning bidder to decide what to do as far as paint is concerned. /p>

 however in my view. the body being super straight. It could stay as/is. The floors are super solid. no issues of any sort. as this car spent most its life indoors with the exception of the summers. In my

opinion this Car belongs in Collectors hands. As this is a piece of Our American history and has never been Molested. Most of these  Anymore have had the suspension butchered. body shaved. and

have customized/ modified their original state. The brakes are somewhat spongy but they do stop this heavy machine. I am used to Newer Modernized brake systems. so I do not know too much about their

function. as this car is older than I am. This is very stock. A prime example of what A Cadillac and its name is intended to be. Pristine and Genuine. Ladies and Gents. Don't miss out on your
