I am selling a 1972 Barracuda. The drive train is a 1968 340 out of a duster. Engine was built for a circle track race car when it was in the duster. The previous owner put the engine and trans in the Cuda .   I don't know all the details but here is what I know. It is balanced. has roller rockers. I don't know what pistons it has but they are not stock. Edelbrock victor intake. New last year Edelbrock 650 carb. hooker headers "not in good shape. " It has 3 inch pipes with flow tech mufflers. The engine runs but needs rebuilding it smokes and has a quiet knock after it warms up. The transmission is a modified 727 with a 4 barring main shaft from a hemi 727 with a BNM shifter. The drive line was rebuilt last year with heavy duty u-joints and balanced at that time. The rear end is a 8-3/4 open differential. The leaf springs are saggy but the car has air shocks so you can't tell. It has crappy old wheels and tires. As for the body it is very straight and has 3 small blemishes. a bubble drivers side. roof half the size of a dime. a chip in the front valence smaller than that and a crack in some body work passenger side between back window and trunk The passenger rear quarter panel was replaced at some point. Other than that it's ready for black or whatever color you want. The engine compartment has been painted a metallic gray and the dash the same color. The brakes are 4 wheel drum they work good except the master leaks. You will see in the pics there is a sound proofing material on the floor and trunk. The car was stripped and treated for rust before it was installed. made a difference the car is loud. Not a show car but an easy restore. I made a short video so you can hear it and see it move. The car is cold in the video. I don't like to let it run it too long.

Locale pic up only.
