Up for auction is an original 1972 Dodge Demon 340. The car is excellent and it runs. drives. handles and performs absolutely great!

Body: This Demon 340 is very solid underneath as you will see in the pictures.  The car was painted a few years ago in the original black color with correct horizontal. hood & rear stripe kit installed.

 It has a new front spoiler and the correct hood scoop installed.  

 

 

Engine: 1972 Date Coded 340 Engine (not original engine) . 30 Bored w/new Six Pack carburetors. intake and air cleaner. Cast Pistons…J Heads. 10. 50 Compression. stock cam. steel crank. original factory exhaust manifolds. new exhaust system front to rear and new mufflers. new chrome tips. new starter. new distributor. electronic ignition. Rebuilt alternator. new plugs and wires. new coil. new battery. battery cover. new brake booster. All new hoses. belts… new fuel pump and fuel lines. new windshield washer reservoir. new power steering pump. new aluminum radiator. new hoses. new 7 blade fane with clutch… Auxiliary 12” fan installed w/ switch under dash… and a new gas tank.

 

Drivetrain: Smooth shifting 4-speed transmission (original 3-speed car). and new clutch. assembly. & throw-out bearing… the flywheel was re-surfaced. It has a 8¾“ rear end with new 3. 23 Posi road gears installed. new front disc brake pads. rotors. and line hoses and new rear brake shoes.

 

(4) New 225/70-14” radial tires. restored Rally wheels. new trim rings. new lug nits. correct center caps.

 

Trunk: Solid and repainted inside. new trunk mat. new spare tire… jack & assembly. 4 new side marker lights…

 

Interior: Black Carpet with Hushmat underneath…New front and rear Legendary seat covers. Original black door panels painted white. new tachometer. new shifter boot. Correct 4-speed shifter. Original steering wheel. remote mirror. New AM/FM CD stereo with new speakers. (original AM radio still works). new Aftermarket gauges. all gauges. wipers. and heater work. New speedometer cable.

 

This is a rare car that was only produced for two years. This Demon 340 is in excellent condition as you can see in the pictures and in the videos.   It is a very nice car that anyone would be proud to own. The car is a fun to drive and it is dependable. I wouldn’t hesitate to drive the car anywhere.
