Background

This vehicle was purchased out of the State of Washington and brought to Florida in 2013. it is an “ORIGINAL PAINT” car. and original interior. odometer shows 90. 00 miles I believe that to be correct but I cannot guarantee that.  all original components seem to be on the vehicle. To me these cars are becoming extremely rare and harder and harder to come by and if you want the truth these Gremlins on the road get more thumbs up than any car I have driven.

BODY

The body on this car is in very nice shape. the original paint shines well. the chrome is there and in good shape. I have included photo's of the rust that has started to bubble after 40 plus years that should be somewhat expected. It does have some small dents here and there that you can see in the photos but if you were looking for a Gremlin to fix up and drive while you restore I could not picture a better example to do this with. For you purist AMC fans I have included pictures of the door tags.

Interior

The interior is all original but included with the sale of the vehicle is brand new Legendary original seat covers for the front and back seat (Same exact pattern as original) as well as a new carpet kit. (That alone was close to $1000. 00 after shipping charges). It has a tilt column. NO A/C. the lights. wipers and all seem to work fine. nice headliner. door panels are in good shape as pictures show. it has the factory AM/FM radio in it but there is an aftermarket AM/FM CD player hooked up.

Engine & Mechanicals

The car runs and drives very well. It has the factory 258 Straight 6 Cylinder in it. the brakes work very well. the tires are brand new and less than a month old. the only concern is a slight exhaust leak and since the radio was installed there is a electrical short that slowly drains the battery down. this has not been a concern as it was not an everyday driver so we simply disconnected the battery after use but that will need to be addressed and I am sure it will be an easy fix.
