The Morris Oxford MKV1 was launched in 1961 with 1622cc “B” series engine and remained in production until 1971 along side the Wolseley 16/60 – two years longer than the MG. Riley and Austin versions.

This car is a 1964 Morris Oxford saloon in Smoke Grey with an Old English White roof. Remarkably. this car has had just one owner from new and it is in beautiful and very original condition. The body. paintwork and underside are all excellent. thanks in part due to the owner requesting underseal protection when the car was new. The interior is good – we have just fitted a new carpet set and the leather is very good in the back but showing some signs of wear in the front but serviceable. On the road this excellent Oxford drives perfectly with good oil pressure. strong brakes and a smooth clutch and gearchange.

There is an interesting history file with this car including various bills. original invoice from the supplying dealer and BMC service book. This car is also fitted with some extras – air horns. hazard warning flashers a tow bar and extra period gauges.

We are big fans of these Farina salons. they are hugely underrated. much better to drive than most other 60's saloons and excellent value for money so it is with great pleasure that we offer this rare survivor – it would be virtually impossible to find another one owner Farina so this is a real opportunity.
