Here ye be. once again. a teaser. I'll be at another car show Aug. 2 in Winston-Salem. NC. You'll see me next to the white almost look-alike  Mustang GT350 Fastback - of which there are many. and Crowns not [photo of a GT500 shown below; so ubiquitous & common a look-alike embarrassment to a Crown ]). Oh. almost forgot. my 899th. 1971 L/hand USA edition is for sale - and only to one that "speaks" Crown.

My photograph is included below. look for me with my 1958 Jinmen. aiwan face.

I will not answer questions that reveal ignorance on this automobile - do your homework and know correct model numbers on 1971 Crowns - stay stock vs. modern ghetto appendages (chrome wheels?) that detract from value and esthetics.

Will trade for Bentley or Rolls of comparable values and condition.

Notice the 1971 Roadrunner behind the fence? I saw this poor beast. chained to a tree and behind a fence in FL in 2006 "Beware of Dog. " I had to take the pic to show the similarity between an MS75 '71 Crown front grill area and a Roadrunner. Often times I've been asked if my Crown is either one of the two cars: GT350 or a Roadrunner. Oh looky. a red 360 that was T-boned. cost to repair so far? 10Gs. – I took this today (7/30) after they made it less than T-boned; then too. see the red and disrespected Crown? I shot this in his filthy dirty junk yard. he was using it as his daily rider - I needed a small part that he believed was made of platinum. - I wouldn't have taken a good dump in the passenger compartment if he gave me the Crown! Cost to get this in to say less than Concourse condition. say about 75% - $20k easily.   I hope he too is looking and knows the disdain I have for him.

I got that small part from a good man in Wisconsin (Thank you Alan Nelson) that gifted it to me on my 73nd b-day (2012) along with many other parts. His Crown (a sit-in-the-weather-for-years wreck some guy bought off off eBay. the guy was from So. Africa. and even after I was gifted many of the parts he was that desirous to get it. Cost here to bring to 75%. about 35k - and first he's got to locate the missing marts (not easy). This guy had a TX Op. drive to MI and flatbed it back to Houston for shipment.   Who knows. he too may be reading this and he's to know. I have parts. not many. but some that you need.

More pics to follow. if only to tease those who didn't buy the Crown last year. or the year before.   Factoid: You that much older and Crowns are much more valuables. Decide: Rub the $ on your chest or drive Crown.

This is fun. and inexpensive. Better than the flicks.   (More tomorrow. )
