Up for auction is a 1966 GTO with PHS documentation.  The car was painted approximately ten years ago.  The odometer shows 20000 miles but we believe the true mileage to be 120. 00 miles.  When car was purchased by us the engine possessed excessive blow-by and engine was removed and rebuilt with no other major problems discovered.  During this time the rings and standard bearings were replaced due to crankshaft being in excellent condition.  The heads were reconditioned and engine reassembled.  Carburetors were rebuilt as well.  The car was originally purchased from Pontiac with a four-barrel carburetor but up-graded to 1966 correct tri-power setup at some time in its life.  Correct paint code for car was maroon but changed to red at a later time.  Upon inspection of block during rebuild block casting number and block casting date as shown in pictures were verified to fall within proper window of car's production.  Vehicle is a great driving or cruise night car that will draw attention.
