Not a show car. but an awesome driving experience that gets tons of attention. PA Inspection expired last October as I was putting the vehicle into storage. Was intending to register as an antique this spring. but have now decided to sell. I have owned the vehicle for the last 7 or 8 years and used it as a fun toy in the summer to cruise around in. I have not been driving it much over the last couple years since I bought a second convertible.
I believe a previous owner did some Autocross at some point a previous so it has some unique features that set it apart and make it a blast to drive.
• Roll Bar
• Racing harness on Drivers seat
• Fiberglass fender flares
• Racing wheels
• Stripped down interior – toggle switches
• Weber 45 DCOE Carb (could use minor tuning)
• Performance exhaust
When I pulled it out of the garage this spring. it started up and I was able to drive it around my neighborhood. The carb could use a bit of tuning to idle more smoothly. The body has plenty of scratches and some bubbling paint behind the wheel wheels. but nothing seems to be completely rotted out. There is a small line of rust across the seam on the front of the hood. The speedometer works properly. but a majority of the other gauges do not. There is 1 tear in the soft top along the seam of the rear passenger window about 2 inches long - also the windows are beginning to fog. This was never a major concern for me. as I almost always kept the top down. The vehicle has not yet been cleaned up for spring and could use a little tuning and TLC. I am trying to do my best to accurately describe the vehicle. though I am sure I have forgotten some things.
I have a few spare parts that will come along with the vehicle - an extra frame for convertible top. a tonneau cover (missing a couple snaps). and some other misc smaller things.
