This is. and was. a project car. However. it has tremendous potential. When sold to me the PO (pervious owner) told me it had a bad transmission and wouldn't run. After some gnashing of teeth (mine) and a through inspection. I found that the fuel pump had given up the ghost and the carb was a mess. Also the accelerator linkage was beyond stupid. But I have since addressed all that and am happy to tell you it runs. Not great. but it runs. The tranny isn't bad it just needs bushings replaced in the shifter. which I bought and have on hand. I just can't bring myself to lie on the ground anymore.

The bad: Most of the front end will need help. The axles appear to be the biggest issue. The steering is fine but the tie rods and ball joints will need attention. The tires are brand new and I bought a set of Iron Cross. Cromodora rims. One side is refinished and the other. not. rims.

Motor is a 1300cc w/4/speed tranny. Clutch feels good. brakes work well and I just replaced the fluid reservoir and hoses to the master cylinder. This car currently will not smog in Calif. I have received numerous parts from friends but California can be pretty screwed up. The motor does not leak fluids but there is a considerable amount of blow-by from the crank case. Cooling system appears fine but some jerk (not me) disconnected the radiator fan. I haven't had any issues with cooling though.

The BIG DEAL about this wagon is the body and interior. No rust in the floor pans. none in the rockers. none in the doors or the front portion of the car. There is a strip of rust on both sides of the car at the bottom of the cargo windows. just behind the rear seats. But the body is super straight. All chrome and emblems are in place. The carpets are factory original and not worn thru anywhere. The seats are OEM also with very little wear showing. They slide up and back nicely. The recline mechanisms are fine. The OEM rubber mat in the cargo area is cleaned and in place. The head liner is up and tight. The convenience entry lights at the top of the B pillars function. Dash wiring is up and tight. Factory AM/FM is in place. works. Dash is unmolested. There are the cracks that accompany most vintage Fiats. but I purchased a dash cover and it looks great.

Yes. it has a ways to go. but the title is clear. pink in hand. and on non-op. It is a project but I have sorted out the big bugs. I'm quite honest and up front about what I sell here. So think about it. These are scarce in the USA especially in this condition. even though it's a bit of a heap. ;)

Let me add. that the paint is rough. The dash. all switches work. all lights are fine. Exterior lights are excellent. markers. tail. brake. head lights. turn sigs. I used SEM vinyl/leather paint/dye on the seats and door panels. You may see some variations which should explain it. It's all the same now. Oh. and the visors need to be replaced.

Please feel free to ask any questions. I will post them and my response. to this listing. BTW. the carb is a very nice rebuilt 32DMTR Weber. and the stock distributor has been replaced with a Yugo electronic system. Never worry about points again. :)

I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT THERE IS A 2ND TRANSMISSION THAT GOES WITH THE WAGON

THE PO SAID IT WAS A "KNOWN TO BE GOOD" TRANNY

I CAN'T SAY ONE WAY OR THE OTHER. BUT IF IT IS GOOD. /p>

WELL. ? :)

BUT THE ONE IN THE WAGON SEEMS TO BE OK.

Quick question is this car a manual transmission? Also if it is already sold can you let me know what the top bid was? Been looking for a 128 wagon like this for a very long time

Hi can you send me additional pictures of the engine, underneath the body, interior etc. Also, does it have a salvage title or a clear, regular title? Also, does it run, and start easily to be put on and off a transport truck? Please provide the zip code of where it is so that I can get prices for shipping it. Thank you
