 Feel the roar of the 426 Hemi as you drive this original 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T.

This a #1 example of a true well documented 1967 Dodge Coronet Hemi RT (Mileage: 56. 38)The car was parked in the early 70's then purchased in 2009 at which time it underwent a complete two year plus detailed rotisserie restoration at Lip Auto Restoration in Detroit Lakes. MN. All of the sheet metal on the car including the floors. doors. quarter panels. fenders and hood are original. Considering the length of time this car was stored it was in amazing condition. A few small patch panels were installed however none of the panels were patched more than 5% of their surface area. the floors are untouched and original

An interesting fact about this car is that during the restoration an extra fender tag was found inside the headliner. This fender tag says "Hemi Engine" and contains the option codes for this car. That tag is now displayed next to the original fender tag. while much is not known about the extra tag it does add to the mystique of this beautiful beast. Rumor has it that this was done on the factory line to vehicles destined for racing and not equipped with a headliner. The car also has some somewhat interesting heritage in that it was purchased from Forrest Pitcock. known for his involvement in the Golden Commandos factory race team in the sixties.

The documentation on the car includes decoding and authentication by Galen Govier and Assembly Line Punch card detailing the build specifications from the Chrysler Historical Society.

The car is an original RT Hemi car equipped with 4 speed transmission. power front disc brakes. Sure Grip 3. 54 rear axle. AM radio. console. bucket seats. achometer and tinted front windshield.

This car was born from the factory equipped as follows:
* 426 Hemi
* Dual 4 Barrel Carter AFB's
* 4 Speed Transmission with a Hurst Shifter
* Dana 60 Rear End (3:91 ratio)
* Front 4 piston power disc brakes
* Bucket Seats
* Console
* Knee Knocker Tachometer
* Courtesy Lights
* AM Radio
* Hub Caps
* Red Metallic Exterior
* Black Interior

The restoration was completed less than a year ago. the car has less than 50 miles on it since the work was completed. As you would expect this car runs and drives exactly as it did when it rolled off of the assembly line at the factory. The quality of the restoration is excellent. very few if any reproduction parts were used to restore this piece of history. a few pieces were so hard to find that they had to be custom manufactured. The buyer will receive a set of 4 Coker reproduction original bias ply tires and hub caps. The spare in the trunk is also a Coker reproduction that is mounted.
