Im listing this car for a friend. Theres no need to cut quarters or tops with this car because this is the real deal. This is a original 68 fastback (S-Code) that is solid from top to bottom. Frame rails. tork boxes. floor pans and trunk are solid. All the glass is perfect in the car. The car has been stored in a dry garage since 1982. The car does need some work but nothing major. It is in primer and there is some surface rust showing but very little. It does have some places and Ive tried to show that in all the pictures. This is one of the most solid fastbacks Ive seen in a long time. The motor and trans are long gone but all the interior is there and it has the overhead console as well. It does have the factory 9 inch under it. In the pics it shows a 302 in the car and that does not go with it unless you work that out with the owner. The owner has a clear title in hand. I will answer any and all questions I can or if you would like to talk to the owner I can set that up to. If the car sales the buyer is responsible for shipping and or pick up.

On Jun-11-14 at 19:31:03 PDT. seller added the following information:

Ive took a number of extra pics of the underside of the car. under the hood and trunk and the quarters. The wiring on this car is in very good shape. Nothing has been cut and spliced. Front frame rails and the bottom of the doors are in good shape. The bottom of the doors does have surface rust starting. Upon taking the extar pics I did see where the back floor pan has had a patch in it. Both the front floor pans has patches in them. The previous owner for what reason welded a piece of flat metel from the back part of the sub-frame to the inner rocker panel. Its not connected to the floor pan. Ive took pics of this to try and show it. Only reason I can see in doing this is to try and stiffen the car up for drag racing or something. The owner of the car now has not done this but it can be removed. The rear quarter panels around the wheel wells has some filler in them to and the lower part of the quarter where the tail pan bolts on. Ive took better pics of this also. The top part of the inner fender on the passenger side has had 2 little pieces of metal welded in the top of it. they are about 2 inches long by 2 inches wide. I have took pics of these places to. Im going to try and put these up on the ad but I can also send them to you by email. The bottom of the car has been undercoated from front to back and the undercoating is starting to flake off and you can see the original color of the car in places which was gold. Over all the car is an excellant car to start with and has alot going for it. but this is a project car and does need work as I said in the ad.  The car is 46yrs old and it isnt perfect but is a very nice fastback to start with. If anyone needs anymore pics in different places let me know and I will get them to you.
