****Want this car for FREE ?? This is no scam or joke. please read the following; I have been looking for my original 1967 Shelby GT500 that I sold in or around 1983/1984 from my family home in Downey. CA. The car was sold for $5. 00. 00 to a man that lived in SoCal at the time. The car had a 427 FE stroker w/428CJ factory cast exhaust manifolds. 4spd toploader big in/out. Nightmist Blue (recently painted) w/black interior (originally a white int car). Some interesting facts about the car is that it had the Mercury Marauder magstars w/the trim ring and larger center sections w/McCreary Drag Slicks that went flat every other day from the beads being screwed to the rims. a Hurst super shifter III with the trans tunnel cut. Mach 1 High Back bucket seats. '68 Mustang Tilt steering column w/Grant small leather 3 spoke steering wheel. battery in the back. missing bumpers. No power steering pump but it had the lower ram still attached. no stripes on top or lower sides. no badges. inboard front fog lights. non A/C car. the rear lower valance had the half round exhaust trim rings and some other unique things I can divulge to anyone interested. I will GIVE FOR FREE this 1969 428CJ to the person who can find and verify my original Shelby (showing DMV records in my name from circa 1983/1984). I do not have any paperwork or the Shelby or Ford VIN and have been looking for 10 years with no success. including but not limited to the '67 Shelby Registrar Dave Mathews. private investigators. etc. The last pic in this auction is of a sbc I built for a buddy and the tail section of my Shelby circa 1983 while it sat in my dads garage. it's the only pic I have of my car. This is a long shot I know but I try to put the word out whenever and however I can.
I will assist with shipping and can also ship international but the buyer will be responsible for all costs involved.
PLEASE ASK ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS PRIOR TO BIDDING. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE AN OFFER OR USE THE BUY-IT-NOW UNLESS YOU ARE COMPLETELY SURE YOU WANT THE ITEM AS THESE FEATURES ARE NOT INTENDED FOR "PAY FOR IT LATER" WHEN YOUR CHECK COMES IN OR "LET ME LOOK AT IT" AFTER I HIT THE BUTTON. I HOPE THAT CLEARS THINGS UP. IF NOT PLEASE LOOK AND BUY ELSEWHERE AS I HAVE DEALT WITH ENOUGH MENTALLY VACANT BIDDERS.
**ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD AS-IS WITHOUT WARRANTY. EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED AND ARE DESCRIBED TO THE BEST OF SELLERS KNOWLEDGE AS TO CONDITION AND/OR MATERIAL DEFECT. NO RETURNS OR PARTIAL REFUNDS WILL BE GRANTED FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER. ***
THANKS FOR LOOKING. GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS ALL.
