 This is a 1997 Porsche 993 Targa Turbo in Ocean Blue and classic grey. with Tiptronic S transmission. The last of the air cooled Porsches. the 993 is generally considered a modern classic. retaining the raw sound of a racing inspired engine. with many of the early handling and bodywork issues solved.
It has been a pleasure and delight to own and run this car for the past 10 years. initially as a daily runner and then. after much care and attention to its refurbishment. as a summer only car.
The car has been garaged and covered during the past 5 winters. and over the first 2 of these it received extensive refurbishment.  Items such as door check strap. rear bumper supports. fuel relay and camshaft gaskets have been replaced.  The two-piece Targa wheels have been fully refurbished. The car has had most of the body seals replaced at the time of a full back to metal re-spray in its original Ocean Blue colour.
This has now created a wonderful looking and much cared for example of this model. with the intention of creating an authentic original. including porsche radio/CD. tool kit. jack and air compressor - not often found in many of these cars.
The car has recently been MoT'd. valid until April 2015.  Tax until September 14.  Full service history.
After many years of enjoyment it is sadly time to find it a new home.
