I have For Sale my 1973 mini clubman 1275. I brought the car back in 2009 with it needing a full rebuild. The previous owner had stripped the vehicle and never got round to all the work needing to carry out the restoration. its now all finished with a years mot.
All major welding work done. repair all body panels and completed with a full respay which was done prefessioanally in Ford Monza Blue.
Engine is a standard 1275cc with electronic distributor so no hassal with points!. Runs well. no oil. water. fuel leaks.
Gearbox has no horrible noises or crunches and operates as should do.
Not stainless but was a new LCB exhaust manifold when fitted during the rebuild.
Stainless steel link pipe and back box. with rear side exhaust tail pipe.
New wiring loom made for the vehicle. wont get any problemes with corroded connectors and poor earths.
Switch on dash panel for ignition and switch for starter. still uses key in barrel for steering lock.
All the underneath has been cleaned. repaired were necessary and fully undersealed and then two layers of stone chip spray to finish it off.
New rear subframe fitted
Recon radius arms
All brakes checked and cleaned. with new brake pipes and braided hoses fitted.
New spax adjustable dampers all round. adjustable hi low suspension front and back.
New front light units with osram upgraded bulbs for better light.
Minilite wheels acid dipped. sand blasted and repainted. 1inch spacers fitted front and rear.
Fibreglass wheel arches colour coded to car.
New fuel tank and sender.
Heated rear screen.
New top quality headlinging fitted.
New window and door rubbers all round so no water leaks into car. and wind noise.
Rear windows can be opened slightly and locked.
I used the origninal wodden effect dash and covered it in black felt. then fitted new hazard switch. radio. clock all built into dash panel.
new alpine speakers fitted under dash. got an interia light under dash panel which comes on when drivers door opened. also a power socket for sat nav or phone charger.
New carpet set fitted only two seats. so all back compartment covered in felt to finish it all off.
Drivers seat is a older version cobra monaco. passenger is a brand new cobra monaco sport.
Rear roll cage fitted and three point harnesses.

Think thats everything but when rebuilding over a period of four years and all the stuff ive done i could of forgotten stuff. I shall be gutted to see it go after all this time. effort and money ive put into it. but ive just got another project which is going to need some funding and i need the space in the garage.

Little niggly bits. no surround around the GT' three clock dash. the wipers dont park and the wiper and light switch. whoever fitted orignally has broken the clamp so its spins slightly on the steering column.

any questions send me an email or text. ive been honest with the description its a lovely classic been given a new life. it just needs someone with the time to enjoy it!
