Seller's notes: This is an original California truck and is 56 years old. It has not been restored and is amazingly solid throughout. Look at the rear chassis section to see it is now like new with just a blast clean,prime and paint. The only rust holes I have found are in the bottom section of the O/S wing as in photo. This truck is sold with the understanding it needs restoring to your requirements.

I found this fantastic original condition truck just outside San Francisco last Dec and had to bring it over. It is a time warp and completely solid. I had the bed off chassis to blast paint and fit new oak boards. Now it is completely useable and ready for fresh paint or lacquer to preserve that barn find look. It drives great and has a very clean cab and dash. Stops easily and everything works. I have an mot although it doesn't need one (pre-1960). I also bought an original works manual. some tune up parts and a spare wheel carrier which is now fitted complete with a new spare tire. This is a hoot to drive as it goes like a scalded cat with a smooth 3 speed manual column gear change. I can't decide whether to keep it and paint it or let it go for someone else to enjoy with their own finish. I really have too many things on at present. but I won't give it away as it is too good. You will not find another donor like this. it has to be seen to be believed. Starts on the button and raises a smile every time ! 07774468726.
