1969 Porsche 911S Sunroof Coupe

We pulled this last week. because we had been told the mileage before we had examined the documents that came with the car. We are going with what we think the original mileage is after our examination.

This is Still A Fabulous Car!

In California Bay Area all its life and last registered in 1991.

Early Small Ca. "Pink Slip" Title and has Original 1969 Issued Front and Rear Yellow Letters on Blue Background License Plates.

 Bahama Yellow Paint with Original Excellent Condition Black Interior and around 153+K  Super Documented Original Miles

Super Rare Find in this Condition!

Car has COA from Porsche and Glove Box Folder with Owners Manual . Etc. and also comes with Two Thick Folders of Documentation and Receipts. It may have been off the road as early as 1984. when the last owner started  buying Mechanical parts for the car. which explains the Fairly Low Mileage. In 9/1989 the car was stripped to Bare Metal. Completely Blocked and Painted with Sikkens Urethane. This Paint Job in 1989 cost $6800. 00. A lot of money at that time. Sikkens has been used for a number of years on McClarens. Including the Formula One Cars. We think the Front Lower Bumper Valance was replaced. as there is a receipt for it. All other Body Panels are Original. The Headliner was Replaced at that time. as to paint the car correctly you need to remove the Sunroof.

The Car was Found. Dusty in the above condition with the engine rebuilt on an engine stand. (See Photos)

We moved the car to our paint and body shop and spent hours just cleaning it. The Carpets were Replaced. as they were Faded. All Other Interior is Factory including the Dash Pad (except Headliner as mentioned above) and Super Nice.  The Fuel Tank was replaced with the 911S spacific Fuel Tank and all fuel Lines were replaced. The engine was Completely Rebuilt. Again. by a Porsche Only. Engine Builder. as was the Injection Pump and the Transaxle was tested for any problems. It has NO OIL Leaks. as rebuild included Machining the Cases and Heads.

Notes from our Engine Builder;

The engine was completely disassembled and all tolerances checked.   New bearings for the layshaft and crankshaft were installed. new timing chains installed and new pistons and cylinders were installed.   The heads were rebuilt with new valve guides and valves. and ground to spec.   New Reinz gaskets and seals were used and the case was assembled using Loktite 574 to insure a leak-free life.   The correct Bosch 0408 126 005 (one year only) mechanical fuel injection pump was rebuilt and installed. The cams installed are the RS cams. one original and one reground from an early Solex-engined car. and the cam timing was set per Porsche spec.   A very exciting engine.

 

Total Brake System was rebuilt as needed. The Floor Pan was Touched Up with Porsche Factory Undercoat. Not to hide anything. but it was faded and chipped in a few spots.

Any Item Replaced. was replaced with Porsche Factory part if Available.

The Car has had 67 Miles since Found to break in the engine and make sure all is correct.
