Dodge Ram Cummins American Pick-up Truck

Up for sale regrettably is my 1992 Dodge Ram Cummins. I don't really want to part with my Dodge as they are quite rare now especially a factory fitted first generation Cummins Diesel. I had big plans for it as I wanted something different for towing my drag car to the track with. but it just hasn't worked out how I planned mainly because I haven't done much racing in the last 3 years and I now need the time and money spending on the race car. its the only reason i am selling it.

Anybody who knows anything about these Cummins Trucks know they are pretty bullet proof and perfect for towing. they can make big power if that's your thing and still get decent fuel economy compared with petrol trucks.

I have owned the truck for around three years and spent quite a bit of time and money getting it something like because I never planned on selling it. its had a brand new custom made stainless exhaust consisting of a 4 inch turbo back down pipe and link pipe which splits into 5 inch stacks. which sounds pretty cool and has that distinctive Cummins growl with a nice turbo whistle. its also had a new idler arm. rear shocks. axle oil changed. KnN air filter. and recent battery. starts first time no matter how cold. it will also come with used heavy duty tow bar (not fitted) and some new spares I have collected along the way.

The thing that I liked about this truck besides the running gear is how rot free the body is. the door bottoms. front wings. rear arches ect have no signs of bad rusting. having said that the paintwork is quite poor quality. very dry dose not really shine and a little flaky in places. with a few dings here and there having been used as work truck at sometime in its life . this didn't bother me to much as I was planning on painting it at some point as there is no major rust issues to deal with. The truck also comes with a 3 gauge pillar pod as I was going to add gauges ready for turning the power up!!. The truck drives pretty good for its age. nbsp;after all it is 22 years old now but has  no unusual noises. knocks. bangs or smoke. The only mechanical issues I have found is that the colum shift could use a slight adjustment (does not effect how it drives in any way) and the throttle position sensor packed up common on these trucks. so I bought a throttle position sensor delete kit from DNR CUSTOMS. COM in the states so no more problems with that ever again now works great. they also sent me a fuel pump governor spring to give it a few more RPM (not fitted but its supposed to be a great mod)

The truck has 6 months tax and MOT. so its on the road and can be driven home no problem. it also has a spray in bed liner easy to clean down if needed. Interior is okay with nice head lining and bench seat. carpets are a little dirty from general wear and tear and some of the plastic trim has a few cracks (not the dash) overall the truck is very different and very unusual. but very useable!! been to a few events and never seen another. most people haven't I think.
