For sale my MX5 BBR Turbo built by The MX5 Restorer. co. uk in 2011/ 12 . google and see testimonial I have written which covers what I have had done to the car.

http://www. themx5restorer. co. uk/     I could not find a solid fine example of a BBR turbo so I found a solid early UK 1. 6 from 1990 and with the help of Garath -The MX5 restorer I bought a second original BBR and we he transfered the Turbo. Modified manufold. Oil cooler . tainless steel exhaust and other BBR parts . boost gauge and switch to transfer from high grade unleaded to ordinary etc. Then fitted a free flow air filter. It had previously had a 1. 8 brake conversion and braided oil pipes.

Garath then fitted adjustable shock absorbers which allows lowering the ride hight and then I sourced some Mazda BBR Turbo original OZ alloys with the lockable centre discs and had them refurbished and they remain as new. Tyres are also very good. Garath then arranged to have the car resprayed at a local to him body shop. with fantastic results. The original red car was very solid that is why I bought it and has only done 46. 00 miles from new and spent its early years in a garage and did very little mileage. I have 14 mots and service stamps and records. The car has a fitted Alpine removable facia CD radio with an Ipod lead into the back of the glovebox. It also has a certified Immobiliser and the silver rings decorative rings are from Rev Limiter. the fourth one could be fitted if you file down the plastic on the boost gauge. I have left the boost on the basic 150bhp setting  as Mazda used but can be increased easily enough. Th einterior is original cloth but no tears etc and the hood is fine and has a zip out plastic window. The turbo was also refurbished by Turbo technics. I have a lot of documentation on the car. It has a hood cover and tonnau cover .

 

 I am selling at a huge loss compared to build costs but I just dont use it and i have done less than 1400 in two years. so the garage space will be useful. I am alos buying a new work car so the money will be useful.

I am not that flexible with the price. but would like to sell . so I am around all over Easter and flexible with viewing. Or e mail me and we can have a chat. I will no sell abroad . I will not accept any offer without viewing.

The MOT is due in a year . arch 25th 2015 and it is taxed until september .   I am based in Wargrave in Berkshire.
