This beautiful  3. 8 litre 997 Carrera 2S with desirable 6-speed manual gearbox was supplied by Porsche main agent Jacksons on Guernsey (now Porsche Centre Guernsey) and first registered on the 21st June 2005.   This motor car appears to have led what can only be described as an unusually charmed existence to date. Used sparingly. the mileage accordingly remains extremely low and fully warranted. with all books and a complete service history from new. all with the supplying Porsche main agent. Also complete with original duplicate keys and immobiliser fobs.

The car has only just come to the Mainland from Guernsey. and it must be one of the finest examples of the 997 available anywhere.

MECHANICAL CONDITION.

The mechanical condition is second to none and the car drives and performs absolutely without fault. It has evidently been the subject of highly detailed maintenance throughout its life and this is supported by the fully stamped Porsche service book.

Each and every service has been carried out by the supplying dealer. Jacksons Porsche Centre Guernsey.

Ordered new with perhaps the most desirable 997 option. the sport / chrono pack. with adjustable suspension. sport setting and sport exhaust system.

The car also features PSM. Porsche's Stability Management.

BODYWORK & PAINTWORK.

I can find no evidence to suggest that both the bodywork and the paintwork are anything other than Factory original. Perfect panel fit and not a ripple in sight. The special order metallic Midnight Blue paintwork is essentially flawless.

Wheel arches and underside are almost as clean and dirt free as the outside bodywork – hardly a speck of dirt in sight.

Fitted with the optional rear parking assist system.

SOFT TOP & WEATHER EQUIPMENT.

The navy mohair hood is in very good condition with no significant signs of wear and the electric hood mechanism works quickly. quietly and smoothly.

WHEELS & TYRES.

 Fitted with the optional 19” Carrera Classic alloy wheels from new. which remain in perfect unkerbed original condition and are fitted with the optional enamel centre crests.

They are shod with an almost new set of correct specification Michelin Pilot Sport tyres.

INTERIOR.

Trimmed in the optional extended Stone Grey leather. which simply means there is leather just about everywhere. Here again. all the desirable options were specified from new:
