Ford Lotus Cortina MK2 Series 1 Rolling Shell for sale

The car you are bidding on is a Ford Lotus Cortina MK2 Series 1 Rolling Shell. F registration registered March 1968.

This rolling shell is the more desirable type being a MK2 Series 1 vehicle with underdash handbrake and 4 x gauges on top of dashboard.

The shell I would describe as restorable requiring quite an amount of welding in some body and chassis area's along with the roof is slightly dented which will push out and straighten.

The rear back axle is non original being an atlas axle from a Capri and thus the anti-tramp bars missing although fixing points to the shell are still present. the reason for the Capri back axle is due to the car having had a 3 Litre V6 for its last engine although the registration document states engine size of 1558cc.

There is some historic documentation with the car including a copy of the original log book.
