Extensively restored MK 3 Midget. Total disassembled and stripped to bare metal prior to replacement of all rotten structures including sills. Floor pan repaired where necessary and cant rail and lower A posts replaced or repaired. Re-sprayed as bare shell prior to re-assembly taking care to ensure good protection to underside.
New suspension bushes throughout.
New wiring loom.
King pins cleaned and checked.
New discs.
Replaced all brake pipes.
New brake master cylinder.
New brake shoes throughout.
Four new tyres.
All components checked. cleaned and painted prior to re-assembly.
The gearbox was re-built by previous owner and is noise free-although some baulk on second to third if hurried.
Engine rebuilt by previous owner and is very revvy and rattle free.
Selling due to lack of time to complete and drive this great little fun motor. The hood is poor but a brand new mohair hood will be included in sale. After its winter storage the clutch slave cylinder requires replacement. The engine is however smokey which will require the replacement of the valve stem oil seals which must have been compromised during its many years of standing.
Leather trim set. Moto-Lita steering wheel and extra working gauges (battery condition. mmeter and vacuum gauge) Air horns and radio cd. I have not fitted an aerial as I was unable to make up my mind about style and placement. Paint finish is good but could be improved.
Wire spoke wheels.
Lumenition ignition.
