I bought This car as a non-running car. I'm an ASE Certified technician. It only has 112. XX miles. and only three owners to my knowledge. The clear-coat is peeling on the hood. driver rear and rear hatch. There is one small dent in the front and not a single other dent. It has a Weber 32/36 on it that was purchasedt from Weber. (I tracked down the old owners). I went through the carburetor and cleaned all the jets. I replaced the points and set the dwell. I replaced all the tiny OEM ground straps plus added an additional two with nice wire all soldered. crimped and marine heat shrunk. and new marine grade battery terminals. I'm trying to tune the carb to perfection but I'm not a carb expert. I set the floats to factory specs as well as the the fuel screw and idle screw to spec. and then tuned from there. I replaced all of the important fuel lines with brand new line and clamps. I replaced the fuel filter at that time as well. New cap. rotor. plugs. wires. points. timed. The interior is in really good shape. everything still works. power brakes hydraulic clutch. heater. stereo but not hooked up and no factory speakers. owners manual. All lights work. has an old Mercedes shift knob on it. I can put the original on. I just liked the brown. I cleaned up the fire wall from the old carb setup. It does require a slightly high idle. it only came with 63HP and any loads mess with the idle if its set to 800-900rpm so I have it around 1100-1200. I had the voltage regulator rebuilt. There is no Masonite under the carpet in the rear which I can make for you if wanted. I also have new front brakes that I can put on. I would recommend getting rid of the solenoid style fuel pump. mainly because they are noisy and inefficient. There is one small half dollar sized area on the roof where the windshield guy put something there like silicone or RTV when the windshield was replaced. so there could be a small amount of rust but the headliner is perfect so It isn't leaking and hasn't leaked water. I left the exhaust alone which is glass pack muffled and a nice tip. That's it. Leaks some oil. but It probably wasn't the correct oil so I replaced that as well. Has oil change reminder and seat belt alarm and light. It has manual windows. manual transmission. I might put an electric choke on it. it can't get easier to work on than that. Front seats are in perfect shape under the seat covers. I can help you arrange shipping or pickup. since I am usually at the house. Bought as a project but those fish are calling my name and so is my boat. I'll sacrifice for your gain. you just cant find these around. Please let me know if you have further questions please let me know. I can get you more pics if wanted. I accept Paypal or Cash on pickup. possibly even a trade. I must have car paid for within one week of auction end. and a $300. 00 dollar deposit within 48 hours or be in good contact with me. You can email me @ OCDMechanical@outlook. com. I am very flexible just let me know.
