1967 Camaro SS Convertible Protouring Restomod 1968 1969 Chevelle Nova Corvette

Overall Description – 1967 Camaro Convertible SS Clone. triple back with white bumble bee stripe.   Car has a 502 cu BBC and a TH400 transmission. Car was originally a 327 (still have engine)  with a power glide and yellow. This car has countless hours of work. It's a rotisserie nut and bolt restoration that just about every part has been touched in some form. This car is a 9 out of 10 in my opinion. Its not perfect but will make someone extremely happy. Please look at pictures and enjoy. Below is the breakdown of the individual areas on the car.

Body & Paint - 1967 Camaro Convertible - Tuxedo Black Paint (2 stage - Basecoat Clear coat). painted white bumblebee stripe under clear. shell was completely media stripped and primed. Underbody was painted semi gloss POR-15. 2k primer was used during bodywork process. car was sealed black after bodywork and before paint. Car was originally Butternut Yellow

Brake System - All new front disc brake conversion set includes spindles. rotors. calipers. dust shields. bearings. pads. chrome booster (small to clear big block valve covers). master cylinder. and combination valve. New brake lines front to back. Rear brakes are still drum but have new wheel cylinders.

Convertible Top -  Top frame was sandblasted and painted black. All new tack strip was added in. New top pads. weather-strip. bumper kit. header molding. well liner. rear hold down brackets. windshield. top boot and clip kit. stainless steel bow binding clips and top boot snap stud set are all new. Top is new and black with standard plastic window.   Stainless trim around bottom of rear window was polished.

Drive train - Professionally rebuilt TH400 from Accurate Transmissions with new 12" convertor and flex plate for 502. Heavy duty truck unit. Deep Pan and 4" output shaft. Have Dyno test paperwork and quality assurance paperwork.  Driveshaft was sandblasted and painted with new TH400 yoke and U-joints. Th400 conversion kit for shifter. New Lokar stainless and aluminum dipstick. New transmission lines and Lokar kick down cable. Rear 10 bolt.

Emblems - New everything - "Camaro" header panel and fenders. "Chevrolet" header panel. "SS" grille. and front fenders. "SS" gas cap. "flag" front fenders. "502" for front fenders. all new clip set

Engine – 502 GM Crate Engine (8. 2L) Description - There is no replacement for displacement. and torque is king. These 502 c. i. d. cast iron 4-bolt mains with 1-piece rear main seals with approximately 8. 75:1 compression and 450 hp at 5. 50 rpm and 550 ft. /lbs. of torque at 3. 00 rpm. These blocks are fit with 1053 forged steel crankshafts. forged aluminum pistons with forged steel shot peened rods with 7/16 in. bolts. Hydraulic roller camshafts with . 510 in. intake lift. . 540 in. exhaust lift and duration at . 050 in. for intake is 211 degrees. and 230 degrees for exhaust. Cast Iron cylinder heads with 118cc combustion chambers with 2. 19 in. intake. and 1. 88 in. exhaust valves. Rock arms are installed with 1. 7:1 ratio. They are then topped off with aluminum dual plane intake manifolds and dress the engine with a cast iron water pump. 6-quart oil pan. windage tray. 14 in. flex plate and torsional damper. These 502 HO crate engines require electric fuel pumps because the 502 GEN VI blocks have no mechanical fuel pump bosses. The 502 HO is not intended for marine use. and should only be used in 1978 and earlier pre-emissions street vehicles or any year off road vehicles.

Weatherstrip - All new weather-strip - Door handle. cowl. convertible side rail. pillar. door. trunk. wind lace. window felts. channel. quarter window vertical strip. vent window. door glass channel. black 3m sealer used and grey 3m floor seam sealer used throughout firewall and floor top and bottom

Other – Also I have the original numbers matching Engine. It's a 327 sbc VIN V04I4ME. Picture is included. If wanted I have the original hood as well.
