We are offering a 1969 Alfa Romeo 1300 GT Junior step-front (Scalino) rolling shell project.
It has been stripped. & had new floorpans & nearside (left) sills replaced. The offside outer sill has been removed.
We have had it media-blasted. and then painted it in 2-pack epoxy primer.
It still needs some metalwork repairs - o/s outer sill. spare wheel well + some smaller repairs in various places - inspection is welcomed.
It comes with an excellent bonnet & bootlid. The stated price includes the bodyshell. bonnet. bootlid. scuttle panel. rear axle. wheels. suspension & steering gear. We can offer. at extra cost a pair of near-perfect doors. already pre-drilled for GTA style button & loop style handles. We can also supply a choice of engines. glass. dashboard. lights. brightwork etc
This would make an excellent basis for a GTA replica. though the dash for this car would be a 1750-style. We could quote to adapt the shell to retro-fit an earlier 'flat dash' though the combination of a step-front body & 1750 '2-hump' style dash is possibly the most appealing.
Whilst we would be happy to discuss completing the project build for a prospective purchaser. please bear in mind that we have work booked in for 18 months. so it would not be a quick turnaround!
