1971 GMC Sierra 2500 Pickup Project for sale

I am selling my 1971 GMC Sierra 2500 (3/4 ton) as there are too many things in my life requiring my time and money that will leave this project sitting for years.   I purchased the truck approximately two (2) years ago with intentions of a total frame-off restoration.   This would have been my third restoration.   As stated earlier it is not going to happen.  

The 350 engine had been rebuilt before I purchased the truck.   Not sure what was used in the rebuild but it is extremely strong and free of smoke and leaks.   It has a TH350 transmission.   The engine can be started and ran for a short amount of time if needed.   The cab is still attached by its original mounts.   I have all parts that are worth reusing in the restoration.   

Purchase new inner fenders to replace the rusted out ones.

Fenders and radiator support need replaced.   I purchased a new battery bracket.

Doors. cab and bed in my opinion can be restored and I have all the hardware and glass.

Tailgate is questionable as far as restoration.  

Frame is fine and the rear end is a Dana 60. 4. 10 ratio open (not a posi).

Don't know what else to say other that I will answer any questions as quickly as possible.   If you want additional photos. and I have a bunch of them as they are very helpful when it comes time to reassemble. please provide an email address.   I searched for a very long time to find a truck worthy of a restoration.   I included two photos of what the truck looked like when I purchased it and I have several others if you request them.  It's not a rust bucket.   As I stated earlier this was to be my third restoration so I am experienced in finding a good base to work from.

Sells in one lot. I will not part it out.   With your help the bed can be bolted back onto the frame for transport.
