The Ford Crestliner Sunlinner Convertible was a pivot point for the manufacturer. The new lineup included a switch from Ford's long serving Flathead V-8 to a completely new short-stroke overhead valve engine. This new Y-block engine has the same displacement as the previous engine but generates 130 horsepower. which is 20 more. then the earlier engine.
1954 was the year Ford introduced the “ASTRA DIAL” speedometer. which admits natural light through the rear of the speedometer housing to illuminate the dial.
This stunning Ford Crestliner convertible is optioned with the 239 Ford V-8. Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission. power steering. power brakes. power windows. power front seat. deluxe radio. spotlight side mirrors. heater defroster. backup lamps. and Coronado Continental kit.
Painted in its original red exterior with red and white interior and a black convertible top with red piping this car shows great.
