Mild Custom 1965 Cadillac Deville Convertible

For sale is our custom 1965 Cadillac DeVille Convertible. This Caddy is a real show stopper. The original 429 cubic inch engine was replaced with a 500 cubic inch. all rebuilt with a high output HEI Distributor and Holley 650 carb backed by a rebuilt TH 400 transmission. Shaved the side trim off the car. shaved the door handles. the antenna (has hidden antenna). and truck lock too. replaced with electric door poppers and shaved electric trunk for a smooth custom look. Too many man hours in labor to count. Has an amazing mirrored custom Granite Pearl paint that has a magnificent reflection. The white interior and convertible top is all original and in excellent condition. The air conditioner and heater core were removed to make room for the 500 cubic inch engine and also gives the engine bay a smooth clean look. but has never been an issue because its a convertible.   New rubber has been installed through out the doors. windows. and trunk. therefore the windows need a little assistance going up and down until the rubber has had time to break in.   She's not quite perfect yet. needs just a few minor touches to make her so. such as finishing the trunk area. a small exhaust leak where the manifold meets the exhaust flange. a few tweaks with the trim. etc. . but this is a go anywhere show car that won't break the budget. This Caddy was displayed in the Cleveland AutoRama last year (2013) and won SECOND PLACE in the ISCA (International Show Car Association) series Mild Custom Convertible class.   This Caddy was also displayed in the Cleveland AutoRama this weekend (3/14-3/16/14) and took THIRD PLACE in the ISCA series Mild Custom Convertible class.   And when everyone else is trailing their trailer queens home. we'll be driving it.   This car is being offered at a low reserve.

 ADDITIONAL INFO: Several questions have been asked via email. so here are the answers to them.   This Caddy features High Intensity headlights and dual exhaust. The a/c and heater core come with the sale.   They are complete and intact and are able to reinstall should you decide to.   The convertible top is power operated.
