The car has an extensive service history from BMW and later independents. The mileage has only just gone over 80k miles from new. Drives effortlessly. The interior is in great condition. The leather is lovely with no rips or tears. The electric front seats work as does the electric roof. Small piece of damage to the plastic part that secures the switches on the drivers seat. but an easy fix with a new one. The air con is cold and appears to be cold enough. But what with it being winter its difficult to tell. And all the other electrics work including all pixels in the displays. Even the phone works with a new sim card. On a motorway this will still return over 33mpg. Just been to the South and France and back again and it was amazingly quiet and refined. But I guess I wouldn't want to drive it around town too often. But its tempting. This really is one of the nicest original 540's out there and is a reluctant sale. Please ring with any questions.
