1987 Cadillac Brougham D'Elegance - Triple Black

 1987 Cadillac Brougham D'Elegance.   Clean CARFAX with documented miles that shows 32K when I purchased it in Idaho. I found the car ten years ago and took a train to Idaho to purchase and drove it home across country.

One of a kind with the most sought-after Cadillac color combination of all - triple black.   In the ten years I've owned it. I've put roughly 7K miles on it. primarily highway trips.   The car has been garage kept ever since I've owned it. and likely it's entire life.

If you're reading this. you probably already know the Brougham is the mother of all Cadillacs.   The D'elegance package is noteworthy - factory sunroof that works as new. button-tufted leather seats that show no wear. power options. power everything. every available option Cadillac had to offer for the year. and everything works (I unplugged the antenna motor. as it runs constantly so the antenna is currently in the up position).  

Clean CARFAX. everything is 100% Original.   There are absolutely no dings or dents.   The undercarriage of the vehicle is bone dry with not a hint of leaking or dripping anywhere.   Mechanically everything on the vehicle is 100% original.

A few other items to note -

- Vinyl top is in near perfect condition.   The actual stitching is still intact with no separation or weather breakage.

- All body fillers and moldings are 100% original and in excellent shape.

- Factory sunroof works as new.   I've only driven the car in rain a few times and the sunroof is 100% waterproof - NO leaks

- The car currently has an aftermarket CD player installed.   I will include the original AC/Delco cassette deck that comes with the car

- I installed a continental kit on the rear of the vehicle (not shown in pictures).   The continental kit can be easily removed if new owner wishes

- I have only used synthetic oil since the day I acquired it and it also has a K&N air filter

- The paint is 100% original so the hood has some minor crows feet due to age. but nothing you wouldn't expect from 27 year old car (not noticeable unless specifically looking for it)

- Tires are approximately four years old with roughly three thousand miles

- NO rust.   The original exhaust pipes and muffler started showing rust approximately three years ago. so I had it replaced professionally here local.

- NO wear on seats. seatbelts or steering wheel.   Both items look as if they are practically brand new

- NO cracks or blemishes in dash

- The antenna motor ran constantly so I unhooked it.   Nothing wrong with the antenna or the way it operates. it just needs a new antenna motor which could probably be found at local parts store.

- The fabric below the sunroof is starting to detach. itself.   Please note the headliner itself is in perfect condition. it's only the small sliding piece below the sunroof.   An upholster could fix it right up.

- Aside from the two items I just mentioned. the car is 100%  on point and carshow ready.   Aside from a museum or time capsule. I challenge you to find one nicer. and a triple black D'Elegance at that.   I have babied the car for ten years and would expect the next owner to do so as well.   Ready to drive away.   I've been serving in the military for 15 years and am going overseas so I need to let her go.   Car is currently located in Wever. Iowa where my parents live.   The buyer is welcome to drive the car away at anytime. but I am willing to hold the car until April 28 if need be.
