This car is a Dream to drive.

The car spent the first 37 years in the desert area of Arizona where it was originally sold (Scottsdale). It has never been restored as it never needed it. I was told by the previous owner that it actually was in a dealer's show room for 15 years a conversation piece.   NO RUST! As best a can be determined all body panels are original and never repaired. Painted once about 15 years ago. nbsp;with the original color and is still in great condition.

The car runs perfect and is mechanically sound in all aspects.   Starts right up every time. no smoke. knocks. taps.    All brakes were replace less than 2. 00 mile ago including some of the hoses.   All lights work. AC blows cold. power roof moves quickly and secures properly.   I have the MARTI Report in hand - see photos - and you can see that this was one of very few with these options.   The car is a 302 with an upgraded intake and 4 barrel carb. both Edlebrock.   Dual exhaust - I believe Magnaflow. sounds great but not overbearing by any measure.   Just a good throaty V8 sound.

The drive train is all original and matching numbers.   The C-4 Automatic Transmission shifts smooth with no clunks.   Rear end is the 2. 79 highway gears so long distance driving is comfortable and economical.   The car gets in the high teens for MPG.   Power steering and brakes.   I would not hesitate for a moment to jump in this car and drive it across the country.   It simply has no issues.

The interior has been changed from the original red to Deluxe Black which is a much nicer look with the Red exterior and White Top.   Other than finding a recent frame off restoration you will not find a nicer presenting car.   You could take this to any regional car show and fair well or just cruise around and enjoy it.   I have the boot in black for the convertible top and it is in excellent  condition and fits correctly.

I have more photos.   If you need a particular picture let me know.   I probably already have one of that shot.

On Mar-10-14 at 07:43:55 PDT. seller added the following information:

There is one small ding on the passenger side rear quarter panel where it appears that something in the trunk slid and put a small outward protruding dent in the quarter panel.   It is very hard to see even when looking for it and almost impossible to show in a picture.   I will try to get a picture of it and post it.   Sorry for not having that in the original description.
