This classic. 58. 00 original miles . suicide door Lincoln was recently overhaul by Bakers Auto which. if you know Lincolns. is the leading expert on restoration and repair of these classic cars.   Unlike many classics listed on Ebay that look great due to a new paint job but when you get them home you have to invest tens of thousands of dollars in the important stuff (I feel pretty good about saying this since I have bought several classics off Ebay). this Lincoln has had all the right things done to it and now the easy stuff is up to you.   I am not a dealer but have a large collection of cars that I like to play with and its time to let this go to make some room for a new toy.   With that said. if you have a classic let me know and maybe we can work out a deal.   This is a true classic used by kings. queens and Presidents.   Its suicide doors and long low profile have never been replicated by any other vehicle in my opinion.

Now for the important Stuff:

Recently I had Bakers go through the entire vehicle from front to back and spent over $30. 00.   I had them replace anything they found that needed replacing or may be close to the end of its useful life.   If you have ever owned a Lincoln from this era you know that they were masterpieces and engineered well beyond the times.   The number of relays and switches in one of these vehicles is mind blowing.   This Lincoln drives like a dream. does not smoke. no leaks. nbsp;heat works. AC works and is sitting on brand new tires. Chrome and stainless also in great shape.   This car has always been garaged and is a Sunday driver.   I have stacks of maintenance and work orders dating back to the mid 1980's.

Below is a list of the major items serviced/replaced:

Window regulators cleaned. adjusted. relays and switches replaced where necessaryReplaced relays on automatic rear window down functionComplete stainless steel exhaust installedNew exhaust manifoldsComplete front & rear brake overhaul (new master. proportioning valve. metering valve. ew cylinders. pads. shoes. parking brake and new brake lines throughout)Replace fuel lines. replace sender unit. verify tank is soundNew ShocksNew strut arm bushingsReplaced driveshaft yoke and new transmission sealsNew water pumpNew Steering pumpNew timing chain and gearsNew heavy duty convertible top pump installedNew hoses. belts. etc. New seatbelts throughoutNew black carpet throughoutNew front coil springsNew power antenna (original radio still works perfectly - but if you need more. a 6 disc cd changer can be found in the glove box)

Like I said. the hard stuff has been addressed now this classic needs a nice paint job. engine detailing and you have a show car that you know will be safe for the family and will get you were you want to go without having to worry.   Not to say that the paint job is bad. its just tired and had (see in photos) too much paint in one spot that has peeled off.   There are some minor scratches and small bubbles on the deck lid and trunk.   There is no rust anywhere on this vehicle.   The undercarriage is spotless and looks to still have the factory application.   The interior is original and as you will see in the photos is immaculate.

I have set the reserve significantly lower than its NADA value and significantly less than what I have into this vehicle.   Vehicle is currently registered and garaged in Massachusetts.

If you want to hear the engine and see the power top check out this link  http://www. youtube. com/watch?v=EYtvs1IcN0o&feature=youtu. be but please bear with me as I am new to this.   What you can hear is how quiet this engine is - so quiet you can hear the birds in the background.
