Frame off restored 1957 Corvette, professional and tastefull restomod

Hello. Here is my frame-off restored 1957 Corvette. The restoration took place over a 5 year time and was finished in 2004. I know the history back to 1972 and since then this car has primarily lived in California until more recently Texas. and then Ohio with me. The restoration was executed very well and this is the finest and most useable vintage Corvette I have ever owned. As you can see it has been restored to look as period correct as possible. but features a number of changes that makes is very very nice to drive. I personally took this car or a 3. 00 mile cross country road trip and it is an exceptional driver as well as beautiful. The car's drivetrain consists of a high-output 340 hp 350 ci engine and a turbo 200-4H "TCI" tranny with automatic overdrive. The engine has an Edelbrock intake with 650 CFM carb with an electric choke. HEI ignition. and hooker headers. Despite the headers and higher hp engine. the car is nicely civilized when you want it to be for pleasant cruising and certainly accelerates very well and the car is very confident. planted. and tracks well down the highway. On a clear full moon night I can attest to having cruised at 95 mph across the Kansas highway with only two fingers on the wheel. Its THAT nice. There are disc brakes on the front of the car and heavy duty anti sway bars that really make for a better handling experience. Of course the rest of the suspension is well sorted as it is a totally restored car. The car has air-conditioning and heat. the interior has Dynamat insulation and sound deadening throughout. All the gauges except the original speedometer and high-end vintage looking electric Auto Meters that even have the proper domed glass. They are actually accurate which is quite nice to have. The car comes with the original steering wheel as well a smaller diameter one that is fitted. It comes with many receipts and records and extras. The white wall tires are radial and have less than 5k miles on them and handle surprisingly very well. The car also has a full size spare tire. Condition wise. the car is how it is pictured. lovely. The paint is very fine with little to no orange peel and is very strait and shows extremely well. It shows some signs of age and use such as a few carefully touched up stone chips and 3 hairline cracks that are close to the faux scoops on the fenders. A common spot for these cars. Fortunately as the restoration is now a few years old and was very well executed. what you see is what you get and I would not expect any unwanted surprises to pop up. The solft top is in good condition and the hood. doors. trunk. gass door. and soft top door open and shut very well. The engine runs fully synthetic oil (which says a lot about how good the build is) and has excellent oil pressure. The car cools very well regardless of being stopped in traffic or highway driving and the tranny shifts well. You will find this to be an ideal vintage Corvette that you will be able to enjoy owning and especially DRIVING for many years to come. It doesn't get better than red with white coves so if you've been wanting a 50's Corvette that looks original. but is even daily drivable when you aren't at a show. then you need to give it serious thought. I'm looking for a strait cash deal. but may consider trades. I've been considering getting a manual tranny C6 Corvette for instance.
