Hi. I'm listing this drop dead GORGEOUS 1959 CORVETTE available for your consideration!! She is just spectacular from front to back and side to side!! AND SHE IS JUST AS NICE UNDERNEATH as she is on top!! This Roman red BEAUTY is as close to flawless as they come!! Restored at (WORLD FAMOUS) TONY'S CORVETTES OF GAITHERSBURG. MARYLAND. Home of literally hundreds of NCRS Bloomington Gold award winning restorations!!!!! She has scored 98. 5 in concourse show. and has never received less than a 95 point score!!!!
Tens of thousands of dollars spent and hundreds of work hours to make her literally breath taking from every angle.
She has gone through a complete. very stringent and very precise magnificent restoration!! Her body was stripped to bare fiberglass. all seams redone to perfection and then she was re gel coated just before final paint work was applied. THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF ANY OVERSPRAY OR ORANGE PEEL. 100% SHOW QUALITY!!!!!!!!! As evidenced by several NCCC judging charts!!! She was color sanded and buffed to a mirror finish that looks to be a foot thick! (IF ANYTHING. BETTER THAN WHEN SHE WAS NEW)
All of her chrome was dipped and triple plated to a perfect and bright luster. And all of her stainless was polished to perfection!! All new weather stripping. nuts. bolts. fasteners. window whiskers. and all new correct hardware of any kind was used in her build!!
Here are some of her build statistics. to include dates and codes etc. She was born in July of 1959. She was born Roman Red with White coves. She also has a 100% new and perfect Black interior with all working gauges and accessories. The interior is also SHOW QUALITY again as evidenced by several NCCC judging charts!! The soft top is black and is as new with a perfect fit and perfect original frame. Also all new weather stripping and new rubbers. Her block casting # is 3756519 and dated (d249) which represents April 24 1959 also with the MATCHING SUFFIX OF CU which indicates 283 cu in @ 270 Horse Power. Her intake along with her carburetors 2613s and 2514s are correct. The correct Distributor 1110891. The correct generator #1102043 (9g2) which is July 2nd of 1959. The radiator has a date of (59G) July of 1959. Her transmission is a Borg Warner T-10 4 Speed dated July 15. 1959. And the correct bell housing is dated (9d159) April 1959. And she has a 3:70 posi bringing up the rear. Her entire engine compartment is restored to SHOW QUALITY. AGAIN AS EVIDENCED by NCCC JUDGING CHARTS!! All of her suspension. brake lines. gas tank. heat and defrost etc. etc. etc. has been restored. Also correct to this magnificent HIGH QUALITY SHOW CORVETTE!!! (I personally like the look of the 2 four set up on the 57 Corvette so that is why the air cleaners are from a 57 as apposed to the single air cleaner that a 1959 (270 hp) car should have) I will buy a correct air cleaner for the new owner. if that is his or her wish. The original wonder bar radio is in good working order and included in this sale. Many of the original build spread sheets (FROM TONY'S CORVETTE) (COSTS FOR THE 59's RESTORATION) and pictures of the restoration will be sent with the car!!! NO DISAPPOINTMENTS HERE. NONE. JUST PURE ELEGANCE!!
