1966 Chevrolet C-10 Short Box Fleetside Pickup, Frame-Off, Over $48,000 Spent !!

From our private collection is this stunning 1966 Chevrolet C-10 "Custom Short Box Fleetside 1/2 ton Pickup"! Please take a look at the photos of this truck.  This 66 Chevy was built to win trophies. drive. and enjoy.  If it were any better it would certainly be to nice to drive!

It has been Frame-Off Nut and Bolt Rotisserie Restored and built with driving in mind! I wish my photos were better. just hard to tell you how breathtaking this truck is. I have included photos of this truck on a lift so you can see the quality of the restoration. This truck would be great for use in country music videos. movies. etc. etc. or just to show off to your friends.

This 66 Chevy C-10  had a restoration cost of over $48. 00. 00 a couple of years ago and has been driven  1350 break-in miles since! I do not restore cars. build cars. etc. as I purchased this Chevy C-10 just like you see it here. I learned many years ago not to spend 150 Grand restoring a classic car that will only be worth 75 Grand when it's finished.  

I do not know what camshaft it has. what jets are in the carburetor. or what the rear end ratio is. nbsp;sorry. nbsp;I just don't have those answers.  If that would keep you from buying this truck then this is not the one for you. My family were new car dealers for over 50 years and I do know when something is super nice and a heck of a buy and this one is both. While not flawless ( I've never seen a flawless vehicle ) this little truck is as nice as you would ever what to drive.

It has been stored in our climate controlled car museum in Mobile. Alabama.

I have a very fair price in mind for this truck.   I don't believe anyone knows within a couple $1000 dollars what any 50 year old vehicle is worth in todays market. It was built from Chevrolet as a True "Short Bed Fleetside Pickup" and not a truck like we see so many times with the frame cut and shortened to make it into this most desirable short bed version. This one is Real!

The factory vin number decode : Vin C1446S123728 . C= 2 Wheel Drive ( K would be 4WD ) . 14=1/2 ton Short Box 115 WB. 4= Pickup series. 6= 1966. S= St. Louis Assembly Plant. 123728 is the last numbers of the vin!

The suspension has been lowered just enough to give it a great ride height. Not to low but not to high. She sits just right! All the lights. blinkers. wipers work.

So sorry but I also forgot to list that this 66 Chevy C-10 is optioned with a new style steering column with Tilt Steering! That is a nice option to have with the Power Windows and Power Bucket Seats.
