Vintage Rare Red Restored 1951 Crosley Hotshot Super Roadster 3 Speed Convertibe for sale

         Vintage. red. restored. 1951 Crosley Hotshot Super Roadster. 44ci. 4 cylinder. 3 speed convertible.   This car was restored from the ground up. by noted Crosley collector and expert Orson Benedict Sr. . using original and reproduction parts including. but not limited to. a rebuilt carburetor. there are all new brake lines. and a new master cylinder; this car only has 1253. 5 miles put on it after the engine was rebuilt.   The bumpers have been replaced with stainless steel bumpers. the hubcaps are chrome and are reproductions. and the interior has been restored.   There is some missing and flaking paint found to the inside of the door wells and along some of the seams on the front and back. near the bumpers; the largest paint chip is found near the front bumper on the right side. which can be found in the photographs provided. The car runs and is road worthy; the car comes with a top and spare tire cover. which are both reproductions. This car has a 44ci overhead cam. and has 3-speed rear wheel drive. with a approximate top speed of 70 MPH. with the base specs.

       The Crosley Hotshot Super Roadster was built by Powell Crosley Jr. . maker of radios. refrigerators. and owner Crosley Broadcasting and the Cincinnati Red's.   The Hotshot Super won the first Sebring 6 hour race in 1950. as well as a 1951 Tokyo Gran Prix. and a 1951 Swiss Gran Prix.   There were only a few thousand Hotshots ever produced; this car is one of America's rare early sports cars.
