Austin Mini 850 1979.
Family owned for 30 years.
Whole history known since new.
Previously owned by RAF Brize Norton before bought from auction as wife's first car in 1983.
Was kept in dry storage for 20 years due to be scrapped before being fully restored as my son's first car.
Original engine and low miles 52032.
Just passed MOT without any advisaries!
MOT til February 2015 . TAXED til August 2014.

HERITAGE certificate and British Mini Owners club letter verifying build date and chassis number

Restoration details:
Body Replaced both outer sills (wider). nearside front floor. epaired nearside inner wing & replace bootlid. ully lined and nearside door.
Replaced rear subframe. ll glass green tinted (from brothers 1275 GT). ew grill & bumpers. roup 5 arches. ew door seals. New halogen headlights
Original colour "Bronze Green" resprayed to the one and only "British Racing Green".

Wheels & Brakes Bought only in August 2013 brand new graphite 6X10 superlight wheels and tyres.
New rear wheel cylinders. ew 1'' spacer rear drums. Changed drum front brakes to 7. 5 Cooper disc set up (for safety). recon calipers +new discs.

Engine Cylinder head prepared for unleaded petrol. New clutch. New oil seals. ew alternator & water pump. Electronic ignition. ew wiring loom. All new brake pipes&fuel pipe and pump. K&N filter in standard air box. 3 branch manifold&twin box system. New front to rear battery cable & new battery. Changed fuel tank from standard to larger one. New clutch slave and master cylinder.

Interior New underlay & carpets. Half leather seats &matching door cards. 3clock center binicle. New black headlining. New Kenwood radio & CD player and speaker boards under rear seat. Cooper steering wheel and gear stick knob.

PLUS Loads of spares free with the sale of this car to include full set of glass. ome tyres and other spare bits and bobs.

Spent ££££'s and a over a year restoring this genuine little car and now deserves a loving new home.

Only reason for sale is after a year of claiming first years" no claims bonus" our son has bought an Audi A3 for uni and we urgently need the driveway space!!
