1965 RAMBLER MARLIN FASTBACK COUPE 16K NEW PAINT INTERIOR ENGINE TRANS

Reduced price! for your consideration is this 1965 Rambler Marlin Fast Back Coupe.   I am the second owner.   I have stored this car indoors for the 20 years it has been in my possession. driving it only a few hundred miles per year in the summer months to car shows.   It was  pampered by the original owner for most of its life as well.   It's from a dry climate and has never had issues with rust.   It has been painted with Acrylic Polyurethane base/clear paint.   Everything works as intended except the radio and the air conditioning. a rare option for this year. Both would be easy fixes.   The AC pump is good. it has not been converted from R-12.   When R-12 was still available. I would top it off each year and run cold AC all summer.   This example also has the rare overdrive option. and gets about 22-25 mpg highway when it is in use.   Exhaust is tight. tires are good. and this car gets a lot of attention everywhere it goes.   It won't disappoint.   I consider it to be a solid 2- to 3+ according to “Old Car Price Guide” descriptions.   It is a vintage car nearly 5 decades old. so there are a few minor imperfections. such as sand scratches in the paint. but you have to look close to find them.   I have attempted to photograph these imperfections in the photographs. so there are no surprises.   This car is all factory original except for a few mild custom interior options by the original owner. such as headliner and radio for example.   The dark paint color on the side is also not original. original paint scheme would have had it be the lighter color.   The odometer reads 14. 65 miles and is accurate.   There are no odors. this car has never been smoked in.   The original 232-6 engine and standard 6 speed (with overdrive) transmission has no computers or sensors to malfunction.   Original dual piston. dual master cylinder disc power brakes are better on this car than any car I have ever owned.   I have the original title because I had lost it before titling it. but it was later found.   While it was lost I had the original owner help me apply for a duplicate. so obviously the original title is now void.   Also Included in this sale are both titles. (sentimental voided original. and valid). 2 pints of extra paint for touch up purposes in the future if needed. one of each color. and an extra set of front brake pads.   Those on the car have hardly any use. however I purchased 2 sets while they were available.  Once payment is cleared.
